Picture this: a starry night after conquering the treacherous backwood bogs of Longville. Inspired by the triumph, someone had the brilliant idea to take our skills outwest, into the unforgiving backcountry powder. Spoiler alert: it was both genius and slightly questionable.
Fast forward 15 years, and here we are, a group of middle-aged men who suspect we might have missed our true calling – perhaps as poets or interpretive dancers. What began as 4-8 daring riders has snowballed into a crew of over 20 guys, each proudly bearing the title of MN Flatlander.
We navigate the powder with the finesse of ballet dancers on ice skates, or at least that's what we tell ourselves. Some might call us privileged; we prefer "Powder Pioneers" – a title earned through countless adventures, a dash of humor, and more than a few questionable decisions.
